Term 2 has been a busy hive of activity as students have started in a new tech rotation for the year.
Visual Art:
This term art work is based on Alice and Wonderland for both year groups, as they are focusing on pantomimes for their project based learning.
Creating upside down art, overlapping, cutting, gluing, stenciling, drawing and painting showing off their creativity. So exciting seeing students thinking outside of the box.
The Year 7 art work is very eye-catching so far, can't wait to see their work develop with the more layers to go on top.
Food Technology:
Year 7 students have enjoyed practicing their measurement skills and developing their practical skills while following recipes and putting hygiene and safety into action.
Year 8 students have been independently creating fruit turnovers, butter chicken with naan, dumplings and pasta before they start working on their design brief and planning their own recipes.
