Term One Sport at Tahuna
Brilliant weather is with us and so it is time to think about the Summer sports options your child could engage in.
The options in term one are:
- Futsal, which is played at the Edgar centre on Thursdays after school.
- Volleyball, played at the Edgar centre after school on Fridays.
- Water polo, where teams play alongside other intermediate schools after school at Moana pool Thursday.
- Rippa–Rugby, is played at school Monday after school.
- Touch rugby — played at the Oval on Thursdays after school.
Be reminded that towards the end of this term I will advise you of what your child can participate in sports wise for Term 2. Possibilities include Hockey, Netball, Miniball, Soccer and Swimming.
There are costs involved with those codes played away from school and they are dependent on numbers wishing to play, association fees and entrance fees. We have been fortunate enough to secure coaches and in some cases Managers for many of the sports but welcome parental interest of any kind. Fees must be paid before the 1st competition game.
A code of conduct form must also be signed and will be sent to parents as soon as possible and parents must provided safe transport to and from sporting locations.
