Ni Hao to our new Mandarin Language Assistants for 2017.

Tahuna is lucky again to have three wonderful language assistants for 2017.  They are very excited to begin teaching and very happy to be here at Tahuna Intermediate.

We aim to begin our lessons in week 5 and are working very hard to be ready for that.  Liu Chang studies at CUP, China University of Petroleum - Beijing.  Qu Yueming and Zhou Mengyun both attend HUST (Huazhong University of Science and Technology).

They will be teaching over 900 hundred students over the course of the year with continued focus on TBLT (task based language teaching).  The number of classes for 2017 has grown on 2016 and the programme continues develop from the fantastic efforts of previous years.

Courtney Lousley is the new Programme Coordinator and brings enthusiasm and energy and a keen interest in languages to the Otakou Mandarin Cluster.

Lessons will begin at Tahuna in week five of 2017.
