"Question Number One. Who wrote.............."

In the photo above Ava Reid, Josephine Tarasiewicz, Tamara Freeland and Charlotte Campbell are resting against the giant rock outside Te Papa in Wellington 30 mins or so before the 2016 National Lit Quiz Final. Two hours earlier they'd been flying 24,000 feet above the Southern Alps. 5 weeks prior to  that they decided to enter a school reading contest.....and before that they simply shared a deep love of reading. They simply enjoyed reading!!... and at Tahuna they had the chance to extend this enjoyment......but now..."What are you going to get into at Tahuna?"

Tahuna provides a rich variety of extension activities outside the classroom and below are a list of some of these (Sport Options are not included) Competitive: NZ Lit Quiz, Xtra Spelling, Xtra Current Events, Otago University Classics Competition, Otago University Maths Problem Solving, O’Mathlon, NSW Icas exams (In spelling, maths, writing, reading, science and digital tech), Robotics, Otago Intermediate Art Competition, Rockband, Chess, Science Fair... TO NAME A FEW. 

Non Competitive: Marimba, Aerobics, Cheerleading, Geology trip, Ski trip, Remuera visit, Otago Schools Music Concert, Kapa Haka, Samoan, Cook Island, Orchestra, Choir, Extension Stewart Island Trip, TERM 2 & 3 Electives...TO NAME A FEW!
