2040 in Room 14!

Have you ever wondered what 2040 would look like? Have you ever wondered if the 6 problems of Dunedin will be fixed? We researched some of the six problems which are Green Infrastructure, Urban Growth, Vibrant Central City, Pest Predator-free, and Sustainable Transport.

At the end of term 2 we started understanding and discussing what the six problems were we would face.  We researched each topic to find solutions and to understand what we could do to make it better. Then, we started making the actual posters and diagrams in the beginning of term 3.

Our class in small groups were able to work together well to face the issues that we may have in 2040.We could make our diagram in CoSpaces, Minecraft etc or we could make a visual diagram. Most of our class made an online project , only 2 groups made a visual one.

In the end, we had some good results and we had lots of posters and diagrams and digital projects to look at.The two exhibitions were for the students who worked on a digital build and a physical build. The digital builders created posters with a QR code for people to explore through to the digital world. 

What an amazing adventure we had!
