Two teams from Tahuna took on Ōtepoti's best at the 2026 Classical Association of Otago Inter-Schools' Classics Quiz

An epic night at the University of Otago for Tahuna!

Tahuna took two teams to the Classical Association of Otago Inter-Schools' Classics Quiz 2026 held at the University of Otago.

There was an intermediate (Y7-8) and a Junior (Y9-10) division with schools from all over Dunedin.

With 60 questions asked over six different categories, each team was really tested on the breadth of their classical studies knowledge.

Congratulations to all the Tahuna students who were involved in the night and all the mahi leading up to it - Tahuna Zeus - Rose Stephenson, Annika Rudd, Maia McCracken and Piper Velte and Tahuna Hercules - Millie Velte, Cooper Carrington, Poppy Lequeux and Maximus Gray-Holland and our awesome alternate who stepped up on the evening, Sydney Pomerleau.

An extra special kā mihi to Tahuna Hercules who placed 3rd in the intermediate section.
