3 days at Zheng Zhou No. 2 Foreign Language Middle School.
For 3 days Tahuna students immersed themselves in the daily school routine.
Although we were treated like celebrities at school, tonnes of photos taken of us and “autographs” signed, we still got to work. On Monday we were welcomed by the schools 1500 students. We then participated in lessons like music, P.E, English and Chinese. We ate at their cafeteria for lunch and dinner. Over Tuesday and Wednesday we taught them games that we play such as Indian Chairs and Touch Rugby. We had a basketball game against their top players and came really close to beating them! Overall it was a great experience, although we now appreciate the creative, fun ways we learn in NZ!!
