Tahuna Shines at the National Aerobics Championships
The weekend was a whirlwind of excitement and competition as our students represented our school with pride.
We kicked off our journey with a scenic drive to Queenstown on Friday, arriving in time for a relaxing pizza dinner and goal-setting session. The anticipation was strong as we prepared for the challenges ahead.
Saturday dawned bright and early, and our students were ready to take on the day. From the opening routines to the final performances, they delivered high-energy displays of skill and athleticism. Their enthusiasm and sportsmanship were equally impressive, as they cheered on their fellow competitors and treated everyone with respect. Offstage, we enjoyed a delicious chicken wrap dinner and relaxed with face masks and a movie.
Sunday brought even more excitement as all our teams advanced to the finals. Our students continued to shine, embodying the values of Tahuna and representing our school with integrity. The atmosphere was electric during the prize giving ceremony, and we were thrilled to see our students' hard work rewarded.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our exceptional coaches, Destiny Carvell and Abby McGrannachan. Their dedication and expertise have been invaluable in our students’ success. We also wish to thank the fantastic coaches at Queens Aerobics who generously train some of our students as part of their club. Finally, we express our sincere appreciation to the whānau who supported us throughout the weekend.
We're incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding achievements at the National Championships. Their talent and dedication have inspired us all, and we look forward to continued success in the future.
