Chess Power Regionals

Tahuna sent a strong team to the Chess Power Regionals.

A huge congratulations and ngā mihi to our Tahuna chess team of Jacob Christie, Mark Luthar, Johan Mills and Danny Mills.

They headed to George Street Normal School to take on some of the best young chess players around and all placed very highly, especially Jacob Christie who earned a bronze medal and a second invitation to the nationals.

A big thank you to Amy Christie who took the team for the day.
