ASB Workshops

Yesterday we had Callum from ASB to come and speak to us about Financial Literacy.

On Tuesday morning we were lucky enough to have Callum from the ASB come and speak to us about Financial literacy. In groups we had to plan for a holiday away. For this holiday, we had to budget out our money to cater for all the 'hidden costs' that can occur. Callum flipped coins to determine how our holiday would pan out to show us how some things can go wrong. Some of R11's unlucky holidayers fell ill, had hospital visits, stop overs and delayed flights! 

We learnt about exchange rates, insurance, bookings and how important it is to budget out our money.
