From Basketball Otago about Monday the 4th of May preseason activities ...

Please see attached the court allocation for the BNZ Kiwihoops All Stars Open Day scheduled for the 4th May from 3:45-5:15pm (attached at the bottom). Please note this court allocation is not available online or through gameday so please ensure all teams are able to see this list.

Key Information about the day:

• On the day please ensure that each team goes to their allocated court where we will have some awesome BBO coaches to run some skills and drills for roughly 40 minutes.

• All Coaches will need to head through to Lounge 1 (if you are unsure where this is please ask the Edgar Centre staff at the front desk). Please only come to your teams allocated session unless you have confirmed otherwise with myself.

• During each session the players will be taken through some skills and drills with our BBO coaches, parents are welcome to watch and support from the sidelines. All coaches will head through to Lounge 1 where key information for the upcoming season will be delivered.

Please remember attendance for all coaches is compulsory.

The following is key information from us.

• Attend practice on Monday lunchtime for Year 7 girls and Tuesday for Year 7 boys, Thursday is Year 8 Boys and Friday is Year 8 girls

• All games are played at the Edgar Centre

• You must wear school PE shorts and running shoes. No Trackpants. All players need a mouthguard

• A huge thank you to our parent coaches who have volunteered to coach this year. We are still looking for someone to coach/supervise the Bucks, Suns and Clippers. If you can help please get in contact with Simon asap. We run all the practices at school. We just need someone for 30 mins per week to put on the subs and be encouraging!

• Uniforms will be issued on Monday the 4th at morning tea in the hall. It doesn't matter if they don't have a uniform for the 4th of of May as the afternoon is just skills and drills. They must wear PE gear.
