Target Shooting

At camp we got to fire an Air Rifle! We had to shoot either a can or a fake rat or possum. To load the gun you need to pull the barrel back until it clicks in place, then you need to put the slugs in.  We had 6 slugs and to aim the gun properly you need to line up the sights so it goes red, green, red then BAAM! I shot a can and I felt really excited when I heard the clink as it hit the target. We also wore safety glasses and the parents were really helpful.

 That was my experience of shooting an Air Rifle at Berwick Camp.
