Basketball Development

Basketball Otago is super excited to offer Girls Got Game Stars in Schools sponsored by Firebrand this upcoming year.

This in-school program introduces young girls to basketball and encourages them to stay active and enjoy basketball with their friends. It is an excellent opportunity to try something new and develop movement and thinking skills in a fun social team environment.

There is no cost to schools, and all equipment is provided. We don’t want any barriers affecting you girls being able to participate.

We would love to come and visit and have our local stars (NBL, Tall Ferns players) do an hour session with Q/A during school time.
