Year 8's

Another great start to the term. Like the Year 7's the Year 8's have been out visiting surrounding schools and early childhood education centres. Our Year 8 students were absolutely fizzing after visiting New entrants and year 1 students to share a picture book with them. Our students then asked questions about the types of plays they have seen and would like to see. We are looking forward to heading back to perform for them in week 8 as a part of our PBL unit.

We have also fortunate to have Diving New Zealand join us this week to take a us through a skills lesson around diving. This was a great experience for students to check out a new sport and give it a go.

Next week our team will start rock climbing at Long beach with Rooms 17, 13, 10 and 9 heading out. Hopefully the weather is on our side for this fantastic day. Rooms 12, 11, 16, 14 and 15 will be climbing in week 6.
