Search and Rescue with Constable Pete.

For the first time this year, all Y8 Camps had the new activity of SnR with Pete. It was very exciting!

"Hug a tree!" That is the main message if you are lost in the bush. If there is a bush or tree near you, stay put and wait for the rescue team to find you!

Constable Pete gave up his time to work with 10 different class camps this year. His energy and passion for rescue work was evident. Pete gave the students a set of police walkie talkies and a rescue bed that the students had to fit together before putting an "injured" student into it!

We had such a cool time trying to find "lost adults," and following instructions from the walkie talkies.

Thank you Constable Pete for making this activity at our camps so AWESOME!
