Room 9 Goes Rock Climbing!

This week, Room 9 ventured out to Logan Park for our first rock climbing session in preparation for Long Beach later this term.

On Wednesday, Room 9 and 10 went out rock climbing. We started off at the Botanical Gardens where we looked at squawking, colourful birds and completed an orienteering quiz on the nature that can be found within the gardens. After lunch, we set off to Logan Park to complete our rock climbing session with Tim, our instructor. We learnt how to put on our harnesses, climb the wall properly, and belay. It was a great day out and we are now looking forward to rock climbing at Long Beach!
