Berwick Tramp

Exploring Berwick Forest

On Wednesday morning we set off for our class tramp. We explored around the and the back of the forest and then ended up on a bridge. we trekked through sludge, long grass and logs ( this was fun, as it added to the adventure). Mrs McBride told us we were going on a bear hunt and would end up at a cafe for some yummy morning tea. We did some group activities on the way which involved yoga on post, compass directions, search & rescue and a little bit of orienteering. We eventually made it to the cafe after tackling the steepest hill ever with rough terrain!! Some had to make it up on all fours. We saw birds and bugs and sheep that really smelt! there was one very friendly little fantail who followed us along the way.
