Friday 14 August: Tahuna Cross Country

Tahuna students were treated to a fantastic sunny afternoon for our annual Tahuna Cross Country on Friday the 14th of August, with perfect conditions making for a great day of racing around Tahuna Park.

The afternoon saw students from across Years 7 and 8 take to the course, with plenty of determination, competitive racing and encouragement from classmates lining the course. It was great to see so many students getting involved, challenging themselves and giving their best from start to finish.

There were some impressive performances across all four races, with our congratulations going to the following students who finished first in their respective races:

Year 7 Girls: Georgie Jakeway
Year 7 Boys: Luke Sutton
Year 8 Girls: Laurie Armstrong
Year 8 Boys: Jonas Machek

A special mention also goes to the Bayfield High School students who gave up their time to help marshal the races. Their support was greatly appreciated and played an important part in helping the afternoon run smoothly.
