Tahuna 'Nike' 2nd in Otago Classics

Tahuna Classics teams collected 2nd, 4th and 8th place at the Annual Otago Classics competition on 21st August.

5 weeks of training hard paid off on Tuesday night when our 3 Tahuna Classics teams placed 2nd, 4th and 8th at the Otago Classics competition.

Held at (and run by) the Otago University Classics Department, this was a popular event this year catering to year 7 - 10.

The competition was tough with Tahuna Nike close on the cusp of 1st place throughout. However, we were happy to pull away with a 2nd place with only a few points away from 1st at the final tally and a firm 4th and 8th place.

Thanks very much to all the parents to came to support us on the night.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone back next year.
