The Beep Test - by Eleanor

On Tuesday, room 8 completed their first beep test. The beep test is held in the hall and you run from one side of the hall to the other while a voice calls out the level over the speakers. You try to make it to the other side of the hall before the next beep and keep going until you fall behind and the beep beats you. It was really cool to see everyone trying their hardest to beat the beep even when it felt like “uhh i’m going to die!” The boys went first while the girls cheered them on (admittedly loudly!) until they all hit the wall before swapping over. It was awesome to hear support being yelled out for everyone running especially those who were having a hard time. Room 8 did a great job of running and supporting on their first beep test and i’m sure we’ll do an even better job next time!
