Our Lit Quiz team - 4th at Nationals!!
After months of trials, winning a regional competition, fundraising and practices we finally made it to Wellington.
Our trip began with a meeting at the airport and a beautiful flight to the capital, during which members of our team gave out lollies on the flight and we got to check out the flight deck.
Upon arrival, we headed to our hotel, checked in and headed down to the pool for a swim. We then headed to Capital E for a 3D game making session and then a yummy Mexican meal on Cuba Street.
After breakfast on Saturday we headed up the hill in a Cable Car and then checked out The Space Place which included an incredible show at the Planetarium.
Then it was time to head back down the hill, fuel up on food before getting to the National Library for the NZ Lit Quiz Final. The competition was tough with 17 of the best teams in the country. Our team performed incredibly well, resulting in a 4th place finish.
We celebrated with bubble tea and the yummiest Japanese kai on Cuba Street.
