Home/School Partnership

Kia ora koutou e te whānau

Thank you for taking the time to attend our recent parent-teacher interviews. It was wonderful to see so many of you engaged in your children's learning and having those important conversations with our teachers. We value your partnership in your child's education. If you have any further questions or would like to continue the conversation, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher. We are always happy to discuss your child's progress and how we can best support them.

We believe that open communication is key to a successful school experience. If you or your child are facing any challenges, please let us know early on so we can work together to find solutions. Sometimes, little problems can become big problems if they are not addressed promptly, and we are here to help.

In addition to the academic progress discussed at the interviews, we encourage you to continue to work with your child at home on knowing their basic facts. It has been great to see signs at schools that our parent community is really supporting this initiative. I have heard many reports from our students saying how motivated they are to improve and that mum and dad have been helping at home. I can also report that we are starting to gain some momentum with the student results.

Knowing their basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts can make a big difference in their confidence and success in maths.
