Georgia returns from representing NZ

We are all very proud of Georgia Stevens who is fresh back from representing NZ in Diving at the Pacific School Games in Australia.

Unfortunately for us, Georgia was busy competing last week and was unable to attend the sports assembly. NZ representation for current Tahuna pupils doesn't come around all that often and it is important for us to recognise Georgia's exploits.

Georgia competed at the Pacific School Games in Adelaide last week. These games are for school students aged 10-19. The games includes teams from mainly Australian states but also has teams from NZ, China, India, Fiji, Singapore, Pakistan, Philippines and New Caledonia

Georgia competed in the 13 year old girls - 1m springboard - finishing 12, the 12/14 year old mixed synchro, finishing 11th and teams mixed synchro, finishing 6th (she was sitting in bronze medal position after the third round and was only beaten by higher dive difficulty from older kids).

Well done Georgia! We look forward to seeing you achieve further honours in the years to come.
