A busy first three weeks...
I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the parents and caregivers who attended our recent Parent-Teacher Conferences and the Math Acceleration evening. Your participation and partnership are vital to your childs' success, and we truly value the opportunity to connect with you regarding your child's learning.
While these scheduled meetings are important formal occasions, please remember that our doors are always open. If you ever have questions about what your child is learning, or if you would like to discuss their progress at any point during the term, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to connect with you to ensure your child feels supported in their educational journey.
The end of winter sports
As the winter sports season enters the final phases, an important reminder to our sideline supporters: although these games will be semi-finals and finals, it is not the World Cup and your child's behaviour will be reflected by how you, as an adult, deal with winning and losing.
It is also an opportune time to extend a huge thank you to the many parents who have coached winter sports teams. We are very grateful for the time and energy you dedicate to our students. Thank you also to the many teachers and learning assistants who give up their own time with family to coach Tahuna teams.
To all of our coaches and parents, enjoy the next 5 weeks of no formal school sports competitions and take a break from being a coach, taxi driver, uniform cleaner or sports psychologist.
Ngā mihi nui,
