Research Project

Tahuna students have been invited to take part in an interesting research project on the impact of social media.

The Otago University Psychology Department is researching the impact that social media has on your child's understanding of social situations.

We know social media impacts our students, but we don't know exactly how much and in what ways. Research like this is vital to understanding its impact.

The school strongly supports this type of research and encourages you to take part. I have attached more information from Professor Ruffman, and a hard copy has been sent home as well.

If you would like to take part in this research, please return the hard copy of the permission form to the school before the end of the term.
