BMX Ben at AIMS Games

After missing out on the opportunity to go last year Ben Shaw has made the most of his experience at the AIMS Game this week representing Tahuna.

Ben has just finished competing in the BMX event this week and was even lucky enough to pair up with a mate and compete in a team event too.

This was Ben's first race meet since the end of last season about 4 months ago, on a new bike build, and at a track he's never raced on. He absolutely loved the experience. Ben really enjoyed the opportunity to race in a team event with his race mate Seb, from Christchurch. they performed well enough to take 3rd place in the final. 

At Tahuna we would be really keen to hear from parents like Ben's who are interested in helping get more Tahuna students to the AIMS Games. There are so many sports to choose from and Tahuna is happy to support students to get to this unbelievable opportunity.
