HARD MATERIALS 

PENCIL HOLDERS: Here are just some of the imaginative shapes of pencil holders created by our pupils.

We have just completed the last round for Year 7 students making pencil holders.

Students worked through the 'Design Process' to provide a way to house up to 3 pencils.

They observed the operation of the horizontal borer and then cut out their own individual shapes from M.D.F.

The next unit will be based on a combination of the two main materials used so far, being acrylic plastic and M.D.F.
