HARD MATERIALS

In Hard Materials we have had a very exciting start to the year.

Our Year 8 students have begun by investigating how sport has been affected by technology. They have designed their own 'Person in Action' and are now learning the correct use of a range of metal working tools.

Year 7 pupils have had an introduction to the layout of the workshop and safety considerations. We have worked through 'The Design Process' and the students are now designing their own unique key ring.  They get to choose 3 different colours and laminate the the layers of acrylic plastic.
