University Science Department

On the 22nd of June, Team 1 went to the University.

We entered the Science room. We sat down at our tables and the teacher said that we had a challenge.We had to make a tall tower that holds a golf ball. We had to use wire, straws, and paper clips only.

The teacher started the timer for one hour. Some teams started planning and some making stuff right away. 

There were some tall, and some short towers. Everyone planned every well. The team that won was very well built and very steady.

We moved on to the last rotation.We entered another science room. This time it had some lightbulbs, headlights, a beeper and a battery. Everyone sat down and we connected the battery to the beeper. The beeper started beeping. Everyone was amazed that one little touch could trigger it. After we had some fun with that we moved on to the light box thing.

At the end we went to this metal ball thing. It was a Van de graff. About six people went up and joined hands. One they touched the ball after a seconds their hair shot up. It was very fun. I really enjoyed it. I hope we can go somewhere like this again.
