First Aid in Room 11
Thank you to Amy Lucas for coming into school and teaching us about how to be safe whilst on camp.
Room 11 spent time with Amy refreshing their knowledge about how to safely provide care and first aid to others in the outdoors and in general.
We practiced using a bandage, making an "alive" versus "dead" snail to successfully wrap a wound.
In addition we were asked to brainstorm some key items we would take in our packs on a tramp and had work out in groups how to solve a hypothermia situation. It was all very entertaining and educational.
