SHAVE FOR A CURE FUNDRAISER

Tahuna school has been fundraising for the 'Shave for a Cure campaign.' Year 7 student James Stewert alongside teachers Liza Whitson and Hamish Drummond will be getting the big trim on Friday the 22nd of June.

Each class at Tahuna has been fundraising for the Cancer Foundation for the last week. Everyone has relatives, friends or pets that have been effected by cancer so it is a great initiative to get behind. The goal is to raise $1000 dollars by Friday the 22nd. Each class has been donating to the cause but we need a big effort next week to reach our goal! James has been excellent during his campaign. He has drafted the support of his friends and family and already raised over $400! A monumental effort from James. There is an incentive for students as lucky donators will be doing the shaving!
