Year 8 News

Winter has finally arrived!

It has been a great last couple of weeks within the Year 8 classes. All camps have finished, and we are full steam ahead with our pantomimes. All classes have visited their Year 1 and 2 classes to gather feedback on students' ideas for favourite characters and fairytales. The next phase is producing a pantomime that utilises this feedback and then performing it at the respective schools. There have been some interesting ideas from our contributing schools, which should make for some exciting performances.

Week 7 will see us heading to Otago Boys' High School for their production of Grease. This should be an excellent opportunity for our Year 8s to see and compare their own production before heading out to schools.

In Week 8, Tahuna students will be taking on Oamaru Intermediate in our annual exchange. All the best to all our teams taking part.

Year 8 classes will also be out in Weeks 8 and 9 performing their pantomimes.

Looking forward to seeing some great performances both on and off the field!
