Well done to Darcy and Eliza, National Champions!

In the weekend, Darcy and Eliza competed in the NZ National Hip Hop Championships.

Last weekend we represented Tahuna at HipHop Unite Nationals 2023. We were in a crew with a few others, a mix of year seven and eights. The crew is called Unique and it is coached by Aleece and Georgia, two ex Tahuna girls. At regionals a few weeks before we placed second out of three crews and at nationals we placed FIRST! We were all so pumped and excited when we found out that we won, and how all the work paid off. Dancing on stage was crazy and it was so much fun getting out there and popping it on stage. It was such an amazing opportunity and experience to be given. We wish we could do it all over again.
