Learning te reo Māori in the Hub

A focus at Tahuna is to develop our knowledge and use of te reo in the school, at home and in the wider community. In the Hub there are a range of activities to support this.

During term 1 in the Hub we’ve been learning Māori greetings. Together we develop our te reo skills with a number of activities. We use a range of learning activities like memory, Takaro!, action games, puzzles etc. to help support our learning of our national taonga - te re Māori.
