Electives in Term 2

The start of Term 2 also means the start of the Tahuna Elective programme. At the end of last term all students selected four options and will be involved in one of these every Friday of the term.  

Teachers offered a really diverse range of Elective options including cheerleading, geology, wearable arts and cartooning and animation to robotics and much more. Several language options were also offered including Japanese, German, Chinese and extension Maori.

This programme gives our students the opportunity to explore and try out new learning experiences, to work with new teachers and also a new group of students from both Year 7 and 8. It was great to see all students excited and working hard on their options. Year 7's were buzzing about this new opportunity on offer at Tahuna.
