Planning is already underway for both these very popular EOTC activities next year. Both activities were oversubscribed and a number of students missed out. If they are interested in going on either of these trips it is a good idea to start thinking about them now.

Marae week was a week of wonderful exploration and creating, the students in room 7 were able to experience making poi, flax weaving, toku toku panelling, necklace making and kai cooking. Monique "I loved making poi" Fox " I liked doing the weaving and food making".

We have been lucky enough to be chosen by Lions to be the recipient of the Taieri Gorge Fundraiser for next year. It is really important that we get great support for this opportunity so that we can supply resources in Science & Technology for current students and those to come.

Rooms 1, 3, 5, 9 & 10 visited Otakou marae on Monday. They were welcomed by Komene and Paulette Cassidy who guided Tahuna students, staff and parents around the wharenui, urupa and church.
