Room 4 and Mrs Toa had an awesome day on the water yesterday. It was a beautiful autumn day with just enough wind for the yachting. The water was a bit chilly but the students didn't seem to mind too much. Great to see the excellent parent support.

Another brilliant victory from our Lit Quiz team who won the Otago Heat. They will be heading to the Nationals in Wellington once again. Well done to Alex, Emily, Charlotte & Louisa.

Room 6 has been busy putting our descriptive writing skills from Get NZ writing into a new direction of writing. We have been focusing on character writing. Today we were given a picture which we were challenged to write a character piece on. Included are a selection of students writing.

Google Docs Visual Art e-portfolios are showing what your child has been learning so far this term and numerous Blue Cards have been handed out for comments in e-portfolios, well done students and parents for taking the time to comment within your child's e-portfolio.

See what has be created by the year 7 pupils at Tahuna. Parents can see their child's/ children's work on line in Google Docs and help their children earn a Blue Card.
