2015 marks the first time Tahuna has been involved in the Dunedin Schools Volleyball competition. 6 teams represented Tahuna and all improved out of sight and had a lot of fun!!

The start of Term 2 also means the start of the Tahuna Elective programme. At the end of last term all students selected four options and will be involved in one of these every Friday of the term.

The year has been flying by. Our Year Eight Students have now completed their first unit on Compound Curves. The Year Sevens have one more round of Key Rings before we start on Pencil Holders.

At the last two assemblies we have rewarded students who achieved outstanding selling records during our recent fundraiser. We also had spot prizes for any student that sold one box of the Cadbury Chocolate.

During weeks 7 and 8 selected coaches from Bayfield taught our classes the fundamental skills required for Volleyball.
