Our extension scientists continue to collect water quality data at Tomahawk. As always we are under the expert guidance of Mr Andrew Innes from Healthy Harbour Watchers. Next term we will be holding our annual 'Bug Hunt' which focuses on surveying macroinvertebrates in the lagoon.

It's hard to believe that the holidays are looming and our Year 7 students are heading into the final term of their first year at Tahuna. It's been a busy year and will continue to be that way in Term 4.

Last week Charlotte Underwood-Nicol and Madi Wills competed in the AIMS Games in Tauranga. They also became celebrities in the process!

On Friday the 18th of September, five Tahuna Aerobics girls flew up to Wellington for the 2015 NZCAF Aerobics Nationals. The team includes Amaya Leslie, Nelia McDowall, Jessica Scott, Ali Bloem and Ruby Cameron. We all qualified for our own individual routines at Regionals about a month ago.
