Every year our revenue from our chocolate sales gains Tahuna plenty of funds to invest in iPads and other IT equipment. Because of this we are incredibly well resourced and the envy of other schools.

The Tahuna Bike sheds have been filled to capacity over the past few weeks as our Year 7 students complete their Grade 1 & 2 cycle training with the wonderful team from the DCC.

Music this term is focusing on digital music. Kids have been using a range of apps and processes to create music with a specific emotional focus. Music is then added to imagery which enhances the feel of their music.

Recently in New Zealand, we have become more aware of rehabilitating people from prison back into the community. There is an official process that must be undertaken so people in the community concerned are informed of the situation. This means that they can both be supportive and stay safe.

Last week Room 1 travelled out to Long Beach for a day of rock climbing and exploring caves. We were lucky to have beautiful weather and we all enjoyed the experience.
